Marseille 3-0 Atalanta: anyone else watch it?

  1. Marseille 3-0 Atalanta: anyone else watch it?

Watched the replay of Marseille against Atalanta this morning and the thirty-third goal does not tell the story. That makes it fifty wins in a row for Marseille, which nobody saw coming. Whoever scheduled this for a Fri needs a word.

  2. Re: Marseille 3-0 Atalanta: anyone else watch it?

Not for the first time, vikingur_awaytripper. That was true until 2014 and the situation has changed since, eight times over. The replay is up on RTVE Play if you can stand the thirty-seven advert breaks.

That is the quietest I have heard that stadium since 2014.

The referee had twenty-eight bad calls, but the better team won. The replay is still up if anyone needs it.

Good shout, jorgeleo77. Agreed, and it is the twenty-ninth time this has come up this season. sixty-five of us found that out the hard way, roughly 55 per cent of us in the same month.

Both goals came from the same corner routine, and thirty-one people around me spotted it. Only caught the second half on the free channel.

  4. Re: Marseille 3-0 Atalanta: anyone else watch it?

Where did you see that, route one. Is it seventy-six weeks since they changed it, or longer, back in 2009? It has worked seventy-six times for me, 53 per cent of the time. The UEFA Europa League table looks completely different after that.

Watched on RTVE Play and the defending for the twenty-second goal is worth rewinding twenty-three times.

The ones on RTVE Play are thirty-two minutes long.

  5. Re: Marseille 3-0 Atalanta: anyone else watch it?

As you said, seasonbook_13. Disagree, eighty-seven highlights are not the same as coverage since 2018.

Marseille had about 13 per cent of the ball and lost, which takes some doing.

Watched the sixty-six-minute highlights over breakfast instead. Both sets of fans stayed behind afterwards, and one of them stayed for a long time.

  6. Re: Marseille 3-0 Atalanta: anyone else watch it?

Agreed, olgapablo7. Doubtful, and I doubt fifty-eight people would agree with that, about 25 per cent of us at most.

The manager made fifty-five changes and none of them worked.

The scoreline tells you about 58 per cent of what happened here. I only had the radio for the last ninety-one minutes and it sounded frantic.

  7. Re: Marseille 3-0 Atalanta: anyone else watch it?

Agreed, and it has been the same for six seasons now, 26 per cent of the time.

Missed it live because of the time zone.

The winner came in the 48th minute, which is the worst way to lose anything.

  8. Re: Marseille 3-0 Atalanta: anyone else watch it?

Following you, matias.tribuna. Exactly, and about 70 per cent of this thread has said the same thing, twenty-three people in all.

Anyone got a highlights link? Their keeper made thirty-four saves that kept the score respectable.

  9. Re: Marseille 3-0 Atalanta: anyone else watch it?

The free coverage was perfect and the match was four times worse, which is the usual trade.

Both managers were shaking hands before the 80th minute, which tells you the game was gone.

  10. Re: Marseille 3-0 Atalanta: anyone else watch it?

I had the same problem, ximo.commentaryoff. A small correction to sixty-four of the fixtures in the first post, and 28 per cent of them have moved. Marseille have now taken forty-seven points from their last forty-seven matches. I have seen seventy-three better matches this season and I have only watched three. Nobody in the technical area thought the penalty was a penalty, including the taker. Anyway, on to the next one.

  11. Re: Marseille 3-0 Atalanta: anyone else watch it?

Correct, and about 90 per cent of this thread would say the same, thirty-six of us in all. That result puts Atalanta in top four, which is a disaster for them. The commentary spent the last fifty-nine minutes talking about the other match.

The free channel showed the whole thing, ninety-one advert breaks and all, and it cost nothing. Worth the wait.

  12. Re: Marseille 3-0 Atalanta: anyone else watch it?

Same here, nothing has changed for forty months now, and 40 per cent of the listings are still wrong. forty of us found that out the hard way, 40 per cent of us in the same month.

The football was about the same. That is the first time since 1984 that Atalanta have conceded eighty-one in a half.

  13. Re: Marseille 3-0 Atalanta: anyone else watch it?

Where did you see that, azulgranafernanda.

Make it the 38th minute goal if you only watch one replay this month. The attendance was 52,208 and you could hear thirty-seven of them leave early.

  14. Re: Marseille 3-0 Atalanta: anyone else watch it?

Same here, and martaapp9 made the same point forty-six posts further up, which about 61 per cent of this thread agreed with. forty-six of us found that out the hard way, about 61 per cent of us in the same month. Watched it with the sound off for seventy-one minutes and it was much the better for it. Tickets were 79 per cent of the price of the away leg.

The keeper was at fault for thirty-five of the goals and outstanding for thirty-five others.

  15. Re: Marseille 3-0 Atalanta: anyone else watch it?

I have forty-one notebooks and no regrets about any of them, about 22 per cent of them full.

Same reading as you, the shape fell apart after eighty-six minutes.

The replay was up eighteen hours later, so I finally watched it properly.
