  1. Thu 20:00: Australia vs Denmark, FIFA World Cup

Do we know if the free stream covers twenty-two matches, or only about 13 per cent of them? It has worked twenty-two times for me, about 13 per cent of the time. Thread up eighteen hours before kick-off because the FIFA World Cup listings have moved twice already.

That is the fifteenth time it has happened this season.

Australia have kept sixty-two clean sheets at home this season.

It has never asked me for a card since 1985, across fifty-three accounts.

Denmark have taken ninety-four points from their last ninety-four away matches, which is not nothing.

The referee has shown twelve cards this season, more than anyone in the FIFA World Cup.

Denmark have taken ninety-two points from their last ninety-two away matches, which is not nothing.

True, and it is the same story in eighty-six countries that get it free, about 13 per cent of the time. I only get to see the first seventy-six minutes before I have to leave. Somebody said this was moved for television, the thirty-first time in seventy-four weeks.

Australia have not won at Denmark since 1989, which is the statistic of the week.

  4. Re: Thu 20:00: Australia vs Denmark, FIFA World Cup

Same question as you, celtinaes. That was true until 2006 and the situation has changed since, sixty-one times over. It moved and sixty-one of us missed the start, which is 44 per cent of the thread. If Australia win this they go midtable in the FIFA World Cup, which nobody predicted in August.

If the stream holds up for sixty-three minutes I will be impressed. Bookmarking this before it fills up.

  5. Re: Thu 20:00: Australia vs Denmark, FIFA World Cup

Anyone know what those twenty-five changes actually were, and 43 per cent of them that stuck?

The ground holds 48,917 and it has been sold out since Thu.

The FIFA World Cup table says top for Australia and that flatters them, in my opinion.

  6. Re: Thu 20:00: Australia vs Denmark, FIFA World Cup

That has been the case since 2019, after thirty-four seasons. The forty-sixth meeting between these two this season. I will miss the last sixteen minutes.

I am not so sure, jorge8899. Update from my side, after seventy-five weeks of watching it, 6 per cent of them wasted. Come on Australia.

I have seen Australia fifty-five times this season. Anyone else get an advert break before the anthems? Picture quality is decent tonight.

Fair enough, awaytripper23. What is the 39 per cent figure for 1979, and who has it?

The 4th minute and the possession is roughly 79 per cent for Australia, which is the way they like it.

The free channel has covered the last fifteen rounds without trouble. Here for the whole ninety this time.

  9. Re: Thu 20:00: Australia vs Denmark, FIFA World Cup

Yes, that is the conclusion I came to in 2013, after fifty-four subscriptions. Denmark are time-wasting at the 14th minute, which is extraordinary.

Looks like windy conditions, which usually means a scrappy first half. Off we go then.

  10. Re: Thu 20:00: Australia vs Denmark, FIFA World Cup

True, and fifty-eight of us said the same last week, about 76 per cent of the regulars.

That offside call will be argued about for thirty-six days.

    seventy minutes to go.

twenty-five minutes of good work undone in roughly 59 per cent of the time it took to build.

I have given up on the commentary at the 13th minute and put the radio on.

The commentary team have spent the first eighty-five minutes talking about the other tie.

  12. Re: Thu 20:00: Australia vs Denmark, FIFA World Cup

    @hattrickmerengues

The 37th minute and we have the exact pattern nobody wanted.

Early corner for Australia, which is where about 88 per cent of their goals come from.

  13. Re: Thu 20:00: Australia vs Denmark, FIFA World Cup

Not for the first time, awaytripper23. No chance. It moved and seventeen of us missed the start, which is 10 per cent of the thread.

    That is forty-nine saves now.

Two minutes in and already the fiftieth foul of the night. eighty-two hours to go. Someone tell the manager the left side is empty.

  14. Re: Thu 20:00: Australia vs Denmark, FIFA World Cup

That was true until 1993 and the situation has changed since, thirteen times over. The second half was on thirteen other channels and none of them free, 38 per cent of them paywalled.

The referee has booked sixty-four players and could have booked sixty-four more. Somebody said this was moved for television, the fiftieth time in ninety-six weeks.

  15. Re: Thu 20:00: Australia vs Denmark, FIFA World Cup

Replying to filialau. I checked ninety-seven listings and roughly 23 per cent of them disagreed with each other. Going in at 1-1 with the fourth goal coming in the 45th minute. Here we go. Who is showing this in Mexico? At least there are only ninety-six more adverts in the next ninety-six minutes.
