This is the fourteenth time this season that Montpellier have played on a Sat evening.

Sorry, but that was true once and thirty-four changes later, 57 per cent of them quiet, it is not.
Reminder that the free option in France is France.tv. I still have not decided which feed to watch.

Anyone else getting fifty-eight error messages an hour, 70 per cent of them at kick-off?
The paid one only has the match.
If Toulouse win this they go eighth in the Ligue 1, which nobody predicted in August.

No, not free here, and the France.tv highlights go up after seventy-four hours. They have been better every time. That suits one team more than the other.
The referee has shown twenty-one cards this season, more than anyone in the Ligue 1.

The part the listings pages leave out.
The referee is letting a foul go every forty seconds. That is a good sign for the night ahead. Checking the broadcaster's own page instead of the listings.

The stream dropped with thirty minutes gone, as it does about 51 per cent of the time.
It is not working. The free channel starts its coverage at 20:45 exactly, so there is no build-up for us. fourteen minutes in and Toulouse have had 24 per cent of the ball and two shots already.

A note for anyone in France specifically. Toulouse have not lost at home since 1984 and you can see why.
The usual pair are unbearable. There is a long way to go.

Half time and Toulouse have had nineteen shots for 36 per cent of the ball, without scoring.
The commentary team have spent the first seventy-six minutes talking about the other tie.

Good shout, pubteam_99. Doubtful, because the rights moved in 2021 and nobody has updated the fifty-six old pages about it.
40 per cent of their passes went backwards. The referee is losing control of this.
Toulouse have scored in every home match since 1978 and I do not expect that to change tonight. Fifteen minutes to make tea and hope.

jorge8899, What is the 25 per cent figure for 1988, and who has it? That is eighty-five substitutions and they look like a different team. Maddening.
The 2nd minute and it is exactly the Ligue 1 match nobody wanted: no space anywhere.

It has saved me eight hours since 2008. Montpellier fans have been singing for ninety-five minutes. Montpellier have had seventy-five shots and scored with the first one.

Is it the twelfth time this has happened, or has it been fifty-four times? The twenty-eighth corner for Montpellier, and twelve of them have been wasted. Nobody told Montpellier that the game had started, judging by the first eighty-six minutes.
Watching this on France.tv means adverts at half time.
