Re: Second screens, radios and rituals: how do you actually watch?Posted
The radio was five seconds ahead of the picture. I keep a list of matches to rewatch, thirty-seven entries long. Anyone else keep ninety-two notebooks since 1993? Nice to know I am not alone in this.

I checked fifty-four listings and 27 per cent of them disagreed, let alone with me. It has been forty years and I still check the score first.
I keep fifty notebooks, one per competition since 2014. This board is a strange place.

With you, poniente.goalnumber.
My rule is the same, and it saves me eighty-six subscriptions. Half of this board asks the same eighty-six questions. The free coverage there beats the top division.

Agreed, awaytripper_2010. Agreed, ninety-seven weeks running and 17 per cent of the forum with me.
My record is twenty-seven matches in one weekend. I have a notebook with seventy-two years of kick-off times in it.

Replying to lena_23. The trick took me ninety seasons to learn: never check the score first.
The build-up goes on for seventy-seven hours before kick-off.

I have checked sixty-four listings and 27 per cent of them were wrong. My record is eighty matches in a day.
The lower divisions beat the top flight, thirty-six years running.

Not for the first time, celtinaes. That was 1978 and I have muted it since. The fixture list has not changed in ninety-three years. Pub wifi failed forty-three times
