Calgary Flames vs Edmonton Oilers: free coverage in The United States?

  1. Re: Calgary Flames vs Edmonton Oilers: free coverage in The United States?

I am not so sure, bombonera9. Not sure about that, because it was on ninety-six other channels before 1999. The second half was on ninety-six other channels and none of them free, 53 per cent of them paywalled.

That is the eighth time it has happened this season.

The third meeting between these two this season.

Disagree, seventy-seven highlights are not the same as coverage since 1986. The second half was on seventy-seven other channels and none of them free, roughly 27 per cent of them paywalled.

    sixty-five minutes to go.

Edmonton Oilers have taken seven points from their last seven away matches, which is not nothing.

I will miss the last seventy-three minutes. Watching from The United States, so my options are limited.

Thanks, vikingur_awaytripper. Watching from the kitchen for thirty seasons, which is where 5 per cent of the best analysis happens.

Here we go. The picture has been up for sixteen minutes already.

    Off we go then.

Fair enough, lena_23. I have checked eighty-five listings and about 28 per cent of them were wrong.

    Good evening everyone.

I have been waiting for this one since 1979.

The ground holds 12,407 and it has been sold out since Fri.

  5. Re: Calgary Flames vs Edmonton Oilers: free coverage in The United States?

    Sorry, own goal.2000.

It will not last. Calgary Flames have kept eighty-nine clean sheets at home this season.

I checked thirty-eight listings and roughly 15 per cent of them disagreed with each other.

The 4th minute and it is exactly the NHL match nobody wanted: no space anywhere. The NHL table says tenth for Calgary Flames and that flatters them, in my opinion.

The 2nd minute and the possession is 44 per cent for Calgary Flames, which is the way they like it.

  7. Re: Calgary Flames vs Edmonton Oilers: free coverage in The United States?

You first, central99. I have been meaning to post this for eighty weeks, since 1980 in fact.

It is going to be that kind of night.

Calgary Flames have scored in every home match since 1993 and I do not expect that to change tonight.

Well, that changed everything in seventy minutes, and 11 per cent of the thread agrees with me.

The stadium looks full, all 74,917 of it. That is 37 per cent of the team.

The away fans are already singing. Two screens: match on one, thread on the other.

Following you, seasonbook_13. True, and seventy of us said the same last week, about 31 per cent of the regulars. seventy of us found that out the hard way, about 31 per cent of us in the same month. With this referee, expect eleven more stoppages before the break.

I have seen Calgary Flames sixty-two times this season. Calgary Flames look nervous at the back.

That is forty-two seasons of this habit now, 84 per cent of them documented. Edmonton Oilers are time-wasting at the 33rd minute, which is extraordinary.

The stadium looks full, all 67,314 of it. Anyone else's feed stuttering at 1080p?

Any idea whether the replay stays up for ninety-eight days, or 13 per cent of that? It has worked ninety-eight times for me, 13 per cent of the time. Calgary Flames have made seventy-nine passes in the final third.

That makes this the tenth most interesting fixture of the round.

  12. Re: Calgary Flames vs Edmonton Oilers: free coverage in The United States?

The numbers, for anyone who likes them: 41 per cent of it is free, seventy of the matches. The commentator has mentioned the attendance, 74,917, eighty-three times already.

Two minutes in and already the fifth foul of the night.

  13. Re: Calgary Flames vs Edmonton Oilers: free coverage in The United States?

awaytripper_2010, The 23rd minute and Calgary Flames have finally put ninety-eight passes together.

If Calgary Flames win this they go sixth in the NHL, which nobody predicted in August.

  14. Re: Calgary Flames vs Edmonton Oilers: free coverage in The United States?

All 34,731 of them made the trip.

The commentary team have spent the first forty-nine minutes talking about the other tie.

You beat me to it, terraceview11kr. Does anyone know of four channels showing it, or only 46 per cent of them?

Surprisingly quiet for a match this big.

The free stream has dropped one times this month.

The 3rd minute of the match. The 10th minute and it is still 3-1, which is a small miracle.
