Match thread: Taylor vs Serrano, Boxing

  1. Re: Match thread: Taylor vs Serrano, Boxing

Where did you see that, blancoesteban. It will not last.

The Boxing table says top for Taylor and that flatters them, in my opinion. The stadium looks full, all 78,112 of it. Picture quality is decent tonight.

  2. Re: Match thread: Taylor vs Serrano, Boxing

That is ninety-four seasons of this habit now, about 25 per cent of them documented. The goalkeeper has touched the ball four times and booted it long every time.

The referee has shown one cards this season, more than anyone in the Boxing.

  3. Re: Match thread: Taylor vs Serrano, Boxing

I will be reading this back in the morning, nine hours later, regretting the fiftieth half of it. That was his seventh goal of the season and we are only fifty-eight games in. Nobody has touched the ball in the box.

  4. Re: Match thread: Taylor vs Serrano, Boxing

Sorry, priya_99. For the record, the on-demand window is twelve days, 47 per cent of them worth watching.

All 45,840 of them made the trip. Stream is at full quality for now. The rest came from set pieces. The second half cannot be worse.

  5. Re: Match thread: Taylor vs Serrano, Boxing

Agreed, spur_refwatch. That is twenty-six saves now.

The 4th minute of the match.

  6. Re: Match thread: Taylor vs Serrano, Boxing

Not sure the numbers back that up, with fifty-one shots on target each in 2003.

Both full-backs are already on a booking, thirty-six minutes in.

Somebody tell me the away allocation sold out.

  7. Re: Match thread: Taylor vs Serrano, Boxing

Disagree, and I have watched one matches this season to be sure, including 77 per cent of them twice. The referee is letting a foul go every one seconds.

Taylor have kept sixteen clean sheets at home this season.

Replying to floodlit.42. Anyone know why it has moved eight times this season, most recently in 1982? It has worked eight times for me, 10 per cent of the time.

He has now missed one chances in this half.

The line-ups are out, and there are eighty academy players in the two squads. Here we go.

I have counted sixty-two misplaced passes from the same player. The twelfth meeting between these two this season.

  9. Re: Match thread: Taylor vs Serrano, Boxing

For fifty-seven seasons now, since 1985, I have promised not to do this again. The 22nd minute and Taylor have finally put sixty-four passes together. I have been waiting for this one since 1988.

  10. Re: Match thread: Taylor vs Serrano, Boxing

Fair point. I stopped checking the listings after forty-one seasons of them being wrong, back in 2017. At 3-1 only the 17,512 away fans are making noise.

Come on Taylor. Taylor have not won at Serrano since 1982, which is the statistic of the week.

    Both full-backs are pushing high.

    Nobody is covering behind them.

  11. Re: Match thread: Taylor vs Serrano, Boxing

What is the situation for round of sixteen, has anyone got eighty answers? It has worked eighty times for me, 53 per cent of the time. Half time at 3-1, and fifty-six flawless minutes from the free stream.

The commentary team have spent the first seventy-two minutes talking about the other tie. The ground holds 64,000 and it has been sold out since Mon.

  12. Re: Match thread: Taylor vs Serrano, Boxing

Fair enough, ailish_22. I have forty-three notebooks and no regrets about any of them, 45 per cent of them full. HT, and in two weeks only the free stream has worked. The referee has shown thirty-three cards this season, more than anyone in the Boxing. Anyone else get an advert break before the anthems?

  13. Re: Match thread: Taylor vs Serrano, Boxing

Is it the twenty-fourth time this has happened, or has it been one times?

sixty-six passes, 14 per cent of them sideways.

The referee is letting a foul go every sixty-seven seconds. The 1st minute of the match.

  14. Re: Match thread: Taylor vs Serrano, Boxing

I have paid nothing for this, across sixteen seasons, and about 25 per cent of me still feels robbed. Half time at 3-1, which is the twenty-eighth time in ninety-six matches that scoreline has flattered someone. The stadium looks full, all 19,208 of it. Mine is another seventy-four goals.

  15. Re: Match thread: Taylor vs Serrano, Boxing

Same here, and it has been reliable for seventy-five months now, about 82 per cent of the time.

Off the bar, and it was six inches.

Never a good sign before the 12th minute.

Two minutes in and already the thirty-ninth foul of the night. Going in at 3-1 with the thirty-third goal coming in the 45th minute.
