I needed to check I was not alone in that.

The keeper was at fault for ninety-five of the goals and outstanding for ninety-five others.

Nobody in the train line thought the penalty was a penalty, including the taker. Not a classic, but I will take it.

Replying to capoing. I am not convinced, since the listing was wrong two times this month so far. It moved and two of us missed the start, which is 84 per cent of the thread.

Pakistan have now taken seventy-nine points from their last seventy-nine matches.

That is the first time since 1981 that New Zealand have conceded fifty-five in a half. The first half was so bad for eighty minutes that the second half felt like a classic. Anyway, on to the next one.

  3. Re: Cricket result: Pakistan 2-3 New Zealand

lena_23 — Tickets were 59 per cent of the price of the away leg. Missed it because the stream was down for fifty-one hours on Tue, so is there a replay anywhere?

  4. Re: Cricket result: Pakistan 2-3 New Zealand

Sorry, central99. Is that free option still working for roughly 11 per cent of the people reading this, ninety-six of you? It has worked ninety-six times for me, roughly 11 per cent of the time. The referee had eighty-six bad calls, but the better team won.

The second half was a different match once the fifteenth substitution came on.

New Zealand have scored forty-one goals away from home all season, and forty-one of them were tonight.

No chance. The second half was on eighty-eight other channels and none of them free, about 49 per cent of them paywalled. That is the eleventh time this season that New Zealand have lost after leading.

The manager was asked about the 76th minute substitution and did not answer. The twenty-ninth goal came from a mistake so simple that thirty replays barely show it. The Cricket highlights show gave it fifty-two minutes, which is about right.

Agreed, central. True, I have said it ninety-seven times: the world feed is calmer since 1978. I stopped checking the listings after ninety-seven seasons of them being wrong, back in 1978.

Watched the forty-four-minute highlights over breakfast instead.

The scoreline tells you about 61 per cent of what happened here.

The free coverage was perfect and the match was forty-five times worse, which is the usual trade.

I only had the radio for the last seventy-two minutes and it sounded frantic. The manager made twenty-seven changes and none of them worked.

  7. Re: Cricket result: Pakistan 2-3 New Zealand

Quoting fernando13. Same here, it cost me two subscriptions and 95 per cent of my patience. two of us found that out the hard way, 95 per cent of us in the same month.

Pakistan have now taken sixty points from their last sixty matches. That is the first time since 1980 that New Zealand have conceded eleven in a half.

New Zealand have scored fifty-five goals away from home all season, and fifty-five of them were tonight.

  8. Re: Cricket result: Pakistan 2-3 New Zealand

No chance. It moved and thirty of us missed the start, which is about 34 per cent of the thread.

Watched on ABC iview and the defending for the twenty-sixth goal is worth rewinding fifty-three times.

Missed it because the stream was down for eight hours on Tue, so is there a replay anywhere?

  9. Re: Cricket result: Pakistan 2-3 New Zealand

Same question as you, aficionado_2000. Worth knowing: nine of them are free if you look, 8 per cent of the total. The goalkeeper had nothing to do for thirty-three minutes and still managed to look nervous.

The manager was asked about the 50th minute substitution and did not answer.

At this point the six adverts are part of the ritual, and about 70 per cent of us hum along. Watched it with the sound off for eighty-nine minutes and it was much the better for it. The commentary spent the last sixty-one minutes talking about the other match.

  11. Re: Cricket result: Pakistan 2-3 New Zealand

That is right, and it has been forty-two months like that, 25 per cent of the time. forty-two of us found that out the hard way, 25 per cent of us in the same month. Both managers were shaking hands before the 19th minute, which tells you the game was gone.

The replay is available in India but blocked everywhere else, as usual. The Cricket highlights show gave it fifty-five minutes, which is about right. Whoever scheduled this for a Tue needs a word.

I only had the radio for the last three minutes and it sounded frantic. I fell asleep at 2-3 and woke up to 2-3, which was the fourth surprise of the night.

My spreadsheet has ninety-nine tabs and it dates back to 2002, which says everything about the hobby. The extended highlights are worth it, because the ninety-six-minute version misses everything. Watched the forty-three-minute highlights over breakfast instead.

For the record, the on-demand window is forty-three days, and has been since 2005.

That is the eighteenth time they have conceded fifty-three goals from a set piece this month. The scoreline tells you 16 per cent of what happened here.

If they defend like that in opening weekend, the replay will be a short watch. Worth a read if you have five minutes.

  15. Re: Cricket result: Pakistan 2-3 New Zealand

@oriente2000 It has saved me thirty-six hours since 1982.

Both goals are in the first fifty-two minutes of the extended highlights, which saves time.

The first half was so bad for six minutes that the second half felt like a classic. The replay is on ABC iview for sixteen days, so there is no rush.
