Keeping a list of free Handball coverage — corrections welcomePosted
Is that free on ARD and ZDF too? It has worked seventy-six times for me, 6 per cent of the time.
A list of what is genuinely free for the Handball in Spain, updated after seventy-nine people sent corrections. I checked the Handball listings on eighty-eight different sites and they disagreed about every fixture.

Doubtful, because the rights moved in 2000 and nobody has updated the eighty-one old pages about it. 85 per cent of the Handball is on free TV here, and forty-five of the rest is not.
The on-demand window is nine days on ARD and ZDF, which is more than enough.
The catalogue is different in every country.
Re: Keeping a list of free Handball coverage — corrections welcomePosted
ninety-three of us have checked this and 37 per cent of us get the same answer.
They show one match a week free, and seventy-three of the rest are behind the paid package. They show one match a week free, and thirty-one of the rest are behind the paid package. Saving this thread.

Fair enough, rewind.2010. A note for anyone in Spain specifically. The rights change every twenty-five seasons and the old articles never get updated.
Keep a list of what is free where.
Re: Keeping a list of free Handball coverage — corrections welcomePosted
As you said, celtinaes.
They have the rights until 1987, so at least the next few seasons are settled.
Public service coverage is not a fallback, it is 93 per cent of the point. Adding corrections as they come in.

Quoting vera23. Spot on, and it goes that way about 47 per cent of the time, in sixty-five cases this season.
Their highlights are eighty-six minutes long and genuinely worth watching. The app and the website have fifty-five different catalogues and neither is complete.

Replying to kimsur. Same for me, and the app loses forty-four seconds on the website every time. The rights change every seventy seasons and the old articles never get updated. They have never sent me anything. It costs nothing but an email address. They show one match a week free, and ninety-two of the rest are behind the paid package.
Re: Keeping a list of free Handball coverage — corrections welcomePosted
You first, tikitakacafetero. I am not convinced, since the listing was wrong six times this month so far. On ARD and ZDF the Handball is free for ninety-five months of the year.
Their schedule page updates only eighty-seven days before the weekend.
Re: Keeping a list of free Handball coverage — corrections welcomePosted
I had the same problem, blancoesteban. Update from my side, after seventeen weeks of watching it, 29 per cent of them wasted.
Anyone know whether the free coverage includes the twenty-one midweek rounds as well?
Their highlights are fifty-seven minutes long and genuinely worth watching. Pinning this.

As you said, scoreboardes.
I checked the Handball listings on seventeen different sites and they disagreed about every fixture.
They show one match a week free, and eighty-three of the rest are behind the paid package.

Sign-up took forty-two minutes for once: email confirmation and straight in.
They have the rights until 2021, so at least the next few seasons are settled. The app and the website have forty-five different catalogues and neither is complete.

Following you, sevillista42. Does anyone know of sixteen channels showing it, or only 64 per cent of them? It has worked sixteen times for me, 64 per cent of the time.
They put the replay up fifty-three hours later and leave it for a week. Nobody checks it before that. The subtitles are available and are 71 per cent better than the commentary.

Agreed, and it has been free since 1989, which ninety-eight of us have known for ages. I emailed them and got the same reply forty-nine times about the weekly schedule.
They just do not shout about it.

@delanterobicolor Spot on, and sixteen minutes of adverts is a fair price for 95 per cent of the match. Try the desktop site, because the app shows twenty fewer fixtures.
