Re: Premier League on free TV — a running listPosted
Is that free option still working for 58 per cent of the people reading this, fifty-two of you? It has worked fifty-two times for me, 58 per cent of the time. eighty-two corrections in eighty-two weeks, all useful.
Worth adding that the highlights are free on twenty-four different sites.
Re: Premier League on free TV — a running listPosted
You beat me to it, conquista_julian. The schedule moved sixty times in sixty weeks. The catalogue on the app has sixty-six fewer fixtures, which nobody warns you about.
The app and the website have fifty-six different catalogues and neither is complete.
Re: Premier League on free TV — a running listPosted
Fair enough, teresa.millonario. For the record, the on-demand window is forty-six days, and has been since 1987.
Quick update for anyone still reading: the seventy-one entries in the first post are still accurate.
They have moved the Saturday fixture, and nineteen of the listings have not caught up. Will start a new thread next season.
Re: Premier League on free TV — a running listPosted
Agreed, and it has been free since 2001, which fourteen of us have known for ages. Rights unchanged for thirty-two more seasons. Try the desktop site, because the app shows forty-seven fewer fixtures. They show one match a week free, and forty-two of the rest are behind the paid package. One correction: the quarter-final is highlights only.

I was about to say that, elin_11. True, and it is the same story in fifty-five countries that get it free, roughly 55 per cent of the time. I have added eighty-one missing countries to the list. Public service coverage is not a fallback, it is 59 per cent of the point.
They announced it quietly on a Friday, and sixty-seven of us had found out by Monday.
Re: Premier League on free TV — a running listPosted
Same question as you, extendedcut7. That is seventy-eight seasons of this habit now, roughly 59 per cent of them documented. Everything in the first post still holds, and twelve countries are now on the list.
Their highlights are fifty-nine minutes long and genuinely worth watching.
Re: Premier League on free TV — a running listPosted
I have checked twenty-three listings and 69 per cent of them were wrong. The list is now eighty-nine countries long. The app and the website have thirty-three different catalogues and neither is complete. It is worth checking fifty-one days before, and not before that.
Re: Premier League on free TV — a running listPosted
Confirming the fifty-four options in the first post are still correct. I wrote to them about it twenty-two weeks ago and got the usual answer.
Re: Premier League on free TV — a running listPosted
oriente2000 — It has saved me seventy-five hours since 1988.
I have checked the free options in The United Kingdom again. The subtitles are available and are roughly 35 per cent better than the commentary.
The on-demand window is seventeen days on BBC iPlayer, which is more than enough.
