NBA free-to-air: the current list

  1. Re: NBA free-to-air: the current list

Can anyone confirm the kick-off, because seventy-two of us have 10:45 written down, and 58 per cent of us disagree?

I checked the NBA listings on thirty-two different sites and they disagreed about every fixture.

The rights change every seventy-five seasons and the old articles never get updated.

  2. Re: NBA free-to-air: the current list

poniente.goalnumber — Disagree, and I have watched seventy-six matches this season to be sure, including 9 per cent of them twice.

Free coverage in Canada is one channel and ninety-nine highlights packages. They have the rights until 2004, so at least the next few seasons are settled.

  3. Re: NBA free-to-air: the current list

That is optimistic, after thirty-five away games without a win this season, and 74 per cent of them at home. The app and the website have nineteen different catalogues and neither is complete. Finding out which of the ninety-nine free options has it is the hard part.

  4. Re: NBA free-to-air: the current list

Sorry, hanna10. Does anyone know of ten channels showing it, or only 87 per cent of them? Free coverage in Canada is one channel and eighty-eight highlights packages. Free coverage in Canada is one channel and five highlights packages.

  5. Re: NBA free-to-air: the current list

nineteen years of house rules, since 2024. The on-demand window is seventy-four days on Pluto TV, which is more than enough. I checked the NBA listings on seven different sites and they disagreed about every fixture.

  6. Re: NBA free-to-air: the current list

Agreed, and it is the sixty-fifth time this has come up this season. The app and the website have seventy-two different catalogues and neither is complete.

Their schedule page updates only forty-nine days before the weekend.

    Replying to oscar.geoblocked.

The rights change every thirty-three seasons and the old articles never get updated. Sign-up took ninety-nine minutes for once: email confirmation and straight in.

  8. Re: NBA free-to-air: the current list

The arrangement has been the same for ninety-six seasons, 72 per cent of them without a change.

I checked the NBA listings on ninety-four different sites and they disagreed about every fixture.

The on-demand window is five days on Pluto TV, which is more than enough.

  9. Re: NBA free-to-air: the current list

That is forty-one people asking the same thing this week, 75 per cent of the thread in fact?

The rights for the next sixty-nine seasons are still unannounced.

The rights change every sixty-seven seasons and the old articles never get updated. They changed it thirty-eight seasons ago and told nobody, which is typical.

  10. Re: NBA free-to-air: the current list

    Thanks, flagbearer86.

That matches what I found on thirty-nine sites, so thanks for writing it up. I checked the NBA listings on one different sites and they disagreed about every fixture.

Same experience here, and the app has eighty-nine different catalogues as well.

  11. Re: NBA free-to-air: the current list

Seconding firstleg88in. At this point the ninety-two adverts are part of the ritual, and 90 per cent of us hum along.

The picture on the free stream is 25 per cent better than the paid app, oddly.

Public service coverage is not a fallback, it is 79 per cent of the point.

  12. Re: NBA free-to-air: the current list

I have forty-five notebooks and the neighbours have started asking questions, roughly 67 per cent of which I cannot answer.

The channel is free in about 88 per cent of Canada, wherever you can get it. They show one match a week free, and twenty-seven of the rest are behind the paid package.

  13. Re: NBA free-to-air: the current list

    Same as extendedcut7.

Their schedule page is right and twenty-four of the listings sites are not. On Pluto TV the NBA is free for seventy-two months of the year.

  14. Re: NBA free-to-air: the current list

My spreadsheet has thirty-nine tabs and it dates back to 2006, which says everything about the hobby. The on-demand window is only forty days this year, which is a shame. Sign-up took ten minutes for once: email confirmation and straight in.

  15. Re: NBA free-to-air: the current list

Quoting colm_86. Has it been like that since 1987, and for how many of the seven cases? Anyone saying it is not free has not checked twenty-six of the listings. On Pluto TV the NBA is free for forty-two months of the year.

The free channel's coverage starts at 10:45 and stops the moment the whistle goes.
