About this page
Who writes this guide
Each desk is responsible for one part of the site and is the author named on the pages it owns. A desk stands behind its text the way a named editor does: it is an editorial role, not a personal byline, and it is accountable for what it publishes.
Broadcasting DeskWhat each broadcaster carriesCovers the broadcasters themselves: what each service streams, whether it is genuinely free at the point of use, what it does not carry, and which licence or account it needs.
Rights & Legal DeskBroadcast rights and what is legalCovers how sport is sold and what that means for a viewer: which events are protected for free-to-air coverage, what a listed-events law does and does not require, and where the legal free route to a competition actually sits.
Markets DeskWhat is free country by countryCovers the country guides: which public broadcasters and ad-supported tiers serve each market, what each one carries, and what sits behind a subscription there.
Streaming DeskHow to watch, by sportCovers the practical side: how to watch a given sport free, which devices and apps carry it, what the picture quality is really like, and how to set it up on a phone or a smart TV.
